Editorial Review:
Product Description: Twilight is an action packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different and when her mother sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for: a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward and Bella do when James, Laurent and Victoria, the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? This is the first movie from the book series from author Stephanie Meyer. The series are currently some of the most popular books written for young adults, with sales exceeding 50 million copies worldwide since the Twilight debut in 2004 and over 7.7 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The fourth book in the series, Breaking Dawn, was released on August 2, 2008 and sold over 1.2 million units on the first day.

This soundtrack is excellent and has a variety of genres represented! The songs were not exactly what I "pictured" when I read the books, but almost all of them enhanced the scenes they were in, particularly Supermassive Black Hole (the baseball scene), Never Think (Port Angeles dinner), Eyes on Fire (Bella looking for Edward), and especially Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Prom). The one disappointment for me was that Let Me Sign, which played during a pivotal and beautiful part of the movie, was left off the soundtrack. I highly recommend purchasing it!

Most soundtracks aren't that great, but this is one that you can listen to over and over again! I bought it yesterday (Tuesday) and have been listening to it non-stop. The music is great!!!!

The music put together for this movie was awesome. It helped that Stephenie Meyer actually has playlists for each of her books to help guide the soundtrack of the movies. The is music that I wouldn't normally think of listening to, but I was surprised by how it works well together.
Bella's Lullaby was beautiful, and Rob Pattinson's song is amazing. If you adored the movie, then I think you need this soundtrack.

For a pop album is great, but if you really love soundtracks buy the score, is much better.
I don't said the soundtrack is not good, I really like it, but had the sense it's not a soundtrack, the only one is Bella's Lullaby and is part of the score too.
So my final coment is that is a great compilation of pop song that goes wonderfull with the movie.

OMG, this CD is amazing. It has awesome songs on it, and it introduced me to alot of songs I'd never have listened to if it wasn't for them being on the twilight soundtrack. It's definately not preppy pop stuff so if thats all you listen to and you hate anything else then stop reading this review right now because your not ready for this CD but if you like Paramore and Linkin Park (and the other people on this CD) then buy this CD because it is truly amazing!! And to me the songs scream TWILIGHT!!
