Description: NO TIME TO EXERCISE? We have the solution -- the 10 Minute Solution! Everyone can find at least ten minutes in their day and we've developed 5 dynamic Pilates workouts that are just 10 Minutes each. The workouts will slim and re-shape your entire body by using a band to add resistance offered by traditional Pilates machines (like the Reformer and the Cadillac) which are usually only available in private studios. You can split these routines into 5 separate workouts or do them all together for the ultimate body -- transforming workout! Pilates Band included inside the DVD case!

I am very pleased with this DVD. I may order another one in the future.

I bought this along with Perfect in 10 Pilates and both are good, but I really, really love this one. The instructor gives excellent directions, the band takes it up a notch and before I knew it I did the entire DVD. I will probably need to buy another band with more resistance, but as for right now I'm very pleased. I'm recovering from a severe broken leg from last year and have had to change a lot of my fitness routines as I can no longer do high impact activities...even walking at times is too much...this DVD helps me feel like I've really worked out and haven't strained my joints in the process. Thank goodness because when you have to retrain your body b/c of an injury it can get very frustrating to find your limits.

I've had this dvd for awhile but recently started actually using it...lol...each workout is only 10 minutes long, but you feel the burn! I am ALWAYS sore after doing the workouts, especially the one for the upper body. My triceps are crazy sore right now! :) I really recommend this dvd; it's challenging but enjoyable and effective. The instructor is not annoyingly perky but quite pleasant and easy to listen to and follow.

This video is a very nice workout. The only problem (as with many, many Pilates called videos) is that the instructor never refers to the guiding principles of the Pilates method (breathing, centering, concentration, control, precision, flow). If you are familiar with all this, you can apply your technique during the exercises on the video and you'll be practicing Pilates. If not, maybe you'll not be doing Pilates and you'll be missing all the benefits you could access if you knew how to practice the method. But even in this case, the workout is good, well conducted and an excellent option exercise at home. I would recommend to buy it even in this case.

I am old (46) and hadn't worked out much so I was looking for something easy to help me get some shape back. I bought this DVD for a very low price and it even came with 2 stretchy bands which impressed me immediately. Then I decided to try the option that would take me through all the 10 minutes segments. I was able to keep up with most of it right off the bat! Sometimes it was relaxing. Sometimes it was very difficult. It seemed to work all of my muscles and even my balance. The 10 minute segments is helpful psychology to keep you going, I think. Everytime you complete one of them you feel accomplished. Suzanne tells you "Good job."
At my work we have a gym. There was a class that was canceled and some other women were just stretching. I told them - hey I have this Pilates DVD... So I popped it into the DVD player and they loved it! And they are in better shape than me. So now we have our own class and everytime women try it they love it. The experienced ones say it is "relaxing" but they also say they sweat. It is the kind of thing you don't have to be all psyched up to do.
