Editorial Review:
Product Description: Director Roger Young (JOSEPH AND JESUS) presents this dramatic television miniseries that recounts the life of Paul (Johannes Brandrup) the Apostle of Jesus Christ. Originally known as Paul of Tarsus, Paul tortured and persecuted Christians until he experienced a vision of Jesus that forever changed his life. After converting to Christianity, Paul suffered persecution and imprisonment, but never stopped trying to spread the teachings of Christ. Notably, this program was shot on location in the Moroccan desert.

Great acting, pleasing visually, with well developed characters. There are some major problems: first, there is nudity (a man's rear and a womans breasts) which is totally unnecessary, and ruins the movie for all those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. Secondly, the portrayal of Pentecost is awful (reading the first couple chapters of Acts shows a powerful sermon with many people coming to repentance, where in this movie the message has no power, and only one person comes forward to ask how they can be saved). There are, ofcourse, many other problems, but that is to be expected, unfortunately.
It is still enjoyable to see the tension between the Christians and the Pharisees/Saducees, the interplay between the apostles, and Paul teaching and preaching to the Gentiles. The Anthony Hopkins version entiltled "Peter and Paul" is far superior, however.

Enjoyed every minute of this movie. I was due to give a presentation on Paul and this movie filled in a lot of factual blank spaces.

I loved this movie!
Show your support of the making of good movies that support virtue. Buy a NEW DVD to encourage Hollywood to produce more Christian movies. Buying a NEW DVD is like voting for more good Christian movies. I hope and pray that they will produce other movies from the Bible, like Daniel, and Jonah ECT..
From the Bible John 3:16 = For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God bless you

I am a Christian and I enjoyed watching this movie. I loved the script because it showed the way the apostles might have deal with each other as they hashed out
I recommend the movie to any one who likes religious movies and anyone who wants to learn from the Saints experience.

I purchased this video for a course I teach at Stillman College entitled "The Life and Works of Paul". My students loved the movie. It was too long for a 50 minute class so we watched it over two class periods and still didn't see the end of the movie.
Yet the content was very educational and entertaining. It kept my students attention, a feat that's not easy. Thank you.
